"Distinct"meaning it's just a blend of American and British. It's appropriate (at least in my 20+ career in communications) to clearly choose the British English as going from "our" to "ze" in a document is a big no no.

We use proper King's English in Canada. Hello, colour, favour, analyse, prioritise, etc. We are NOT Americans.
