My 1930s ex-council flat is also great. Reasonable service charge and I look after my own boiler.
But then again, I quickly ruled out buying anything built after 1960 because the service charges were very high (especially if you have a communal boiler, district heating system, even lifts)

But I did go to one of the two Bouillons on Place de la République, and in terms of value for money, I don’t think it can be beaten
