If you want to start with the very prog era, 2112, Hemispheres, A Farewell to Kings. Permanent Waves is a masterpiece, and Moving Pictures, then Signals. These are more or less in chronological order. From Grace Under Pressure through Roll the Bones, they were much more radio friendly.
