I'm watching a BBC segment on it and one of the experts explain that before TT social media was based on a social graph, you're connected to your friends and you saw what they saw and so forth, whereas TT was based on an interest graph, so you're fed content based on your interests not your network.

How exactly do they suck? These days I watch basically the same 10 friends Instagram stories and that makes up most of my social media diet, So outside of eye rolling at the ads on Facebook when I drop in once every couple of months, I have no idea what the differences are for users

I'm curious about the businesses/influencers that haven't built followings on any other platforms...
