Texas just passed a constitutional amendment prohibiting estate taxes with 71% of the vote. Only 6% have a net worth of 1 mill and less than 1% have a net worth over 5 mill. The workers voting against their interest yet again.

But USAID was the problem. He just wants a self serving slush fund.

This country has failed its workers. When Sen Haley thinks mentioning that active service members rely on food stamps he thinks that a good argument to fund snap. I say fund it but why the hail is a person willing to die for us not paid enough to feed his family. Pay workers a living wage

This dude. Says a lot of the right things but votes against the right things. I can’t get inside his brain without feeling vertigo from the spin. 100% fed the children but why did you vote for the OBBB that cuts all the things that due to the greed of the rich you endorsed the working class need

We can’t keep calling this 1933 Berlin when the Dem Senators are willing to play ball as long as the President restores ACÁ premium assistance. The only level of power we have is the budget. Demand no mask for ice, no concentration camps, due process, or shut this fascism down

This is not our government to fund, it is clearly a vile Project 2025 GOP creation that they do not have the power to fund alone. Dems must demand a return to constitutional protections like due process for all, no state sponsored murder of suspects etc. Any Dem voting to fund this must be primaried

Holding up funding when in the minority because you lost on tax or regulation policy isn’t fair to the citizens but holding it to defend the constitutional rights of the electorate is a no brainer. Don’t fund the wrong side of history. Force the GOP into a work around or compromise. Stand up!
