Artist, B.A. Phil, worked in the theatre, performed w/ bands, sang & alto sax, had French boyfriend for 8 years, always a walker, took ballet & yoga, wrote, translated, specialized in vid editing, became a dementia carer for my folks-> ptsd. Still walking
They had him live on BBC world and got a glimpse but he was like a more stylized, rasping and dry version of his usual toxic emptiness. I couldn't bear it at all, I don't want to hear what he has to say anymore, it's terrible

我认为这是人工智能完成的。不错的尝试,但俄罗斯仍然犯有战争罪。新年快乐!

yeah, I would stick to the final verse:
As soon as the summer days return
All our troubles left behind
We'll be back to feast
on the sunny beach
-Mais aux premiers jours d'été
Tous les ennuis oubliés
Nous reviendrons faire la fête aux crustacés
Dans la plage ensoleillée

The problem is that caught in the gravity of X's network effect official gov accounts/ news outlets, journalists/ intnl orgs (the very same that are attacked by troll farms helped by X algos & amplified by Musk), remain hooked & keep outsourcing their communication to that platform.

Your discussion seems to be one of few exceptions in this thread. Otherwise, more or less reserved hero worship. I just wanted to observe that in Hitler's Germany (& other cases of authoritarianism) there was no independent justice or the possibility of civil dissent. Is this the case in USA today?

Why do European govs and other democracies with official accounts continue outsourcing their communication with the wider public to Musk's platform? Why do journalists who care about freedom of speech and democracy still post their content there despite heavy bot activity & astro-turfing?

Not sure what your experience of sleep is but I love it so much that I've split it in two shifts. In winter, segments are 6am-10am & 6pm-10pm. I adore it in combination with the exquisite thresholds of falling (asleep) and rising back to the surface and out of lucid dreams still soaked in their plot

Defeat for Russia but tricky for civilians caught btn a rock & a hard place; I've already seen vids where those Turkey-supported groups behave lk Jihadis & execute prisoners. One can't expect security for civilians. Only the Kurds have humanity and I hope they hold their lines to harbor minorities

He has no democratic conscience, basically.

Doesn't he look more anemic than usual?

And it gets even more despicable in some local news depending on the country with these tropes re Russia that use a tone of conventional reverence, e.g. "after the latest escalation" of the use of long range Western missiles, president Putin blah-blah.. (parrots Russian talking points)

what gets me infuriated in international news is the normalization of the double standards, you know, somehow it's acceptable for those fkng bastards to hit civilians but Ukraine has to stick to all the rules and still be judged continuously. Reminds me the Trump vs Harris coverage
