I retired from teaching twenty years ago. Thought I was done chaperoning school dances. This week, we'll be on set filming a dance scene in an actual school gymnasium, so I guess I'm back on duty! (Titan's Curse readers, you know what I'm talking about.)

Got to see some early concept art for PJOTV season three monsters and beasties yesterday. Really not fair to tease this since it is still so far away, but Holy Hera it looks good! I'll just be over here squealing internally for the next couple of years until I can share it with you. Carry on.

On my plate this week: Look over marketing and merchandising ideas for PJOTV season two. Read / note a script for season three. Edit a manuscript that I can't talk about yet. Continue writing a manuscript (the third new Percy novel) Have meetings on two other projects I can't talk about yet. Nap.
Spanish has some really elegant auxiliary verbs. Acabar means something like 'to just have done something.' Terminé mi trabajo = I finished my work. But Acabo de terminar mi trabajo = 'I just finished finishing my work.' I don't think English has a verb like that. (PS. I like words)
