Love is a verb so I’m showing up for people & the planet. Regional Queensland. It’s always a good time for a cuppa!
Went to see the new solar farm in Gladstone today, as part of the Women of the World Festival. It was fascinating, and lovely company too! 🙌

Always such a nice time of year when my Grandma’s caladium comes back to life! Last week they were still just thinking about it!

Hey there Moon 😍

It’s delightful! Unfortunately my longest vine had a run in with my 7yo so it won’t be bigger this year but will still be lovely! 😂

A sound I love? Hearing my son rifle through his Lego stash trying to find the perfect piece. I love it because I know he’s having the best time being creative in his own little world, & soon he’ll come to show me his creation. #lego

Beautiful afternoon on Tannum Sands beach in Central QLD 😍

These roundabouts in the new Aura estate on the sunny coast are really well done. You don’t have to share a lane with cars to go round. It’s brilliant.

Do any cyclists in Australia have an example of a well done left turn lane or intersection for cyclists? In CQ, cyclists going left are just forgotten about, those going straight ahead are barely thought of, if you must turn right, there’s no thought for you! #cyclists #safety

The real answer about the eggs tonight should have been they’re hard to purchase, followed by what they going to do to help producers/consumers. #auspol #leadersdebate

Spare a thought for us in Central Queensland where there are more men named Peter than there are women on our ballot paper. And a tough choice as to finding an order for many of these. 😩😭 #auspol

There was the most beautiful big owl in the tree by the playground today! How it tolerated the noise of all the kids is incredible! 💚 Not sure what type. Central Qld.

Shelves also quite bare in Central Queensland. A minor problem compared to others, but away from the worst of the weather yet victim to everything coming from SEQ. #cyclonealfred

Cyclone Alfred producing proper waves at Tannum today. Shoreline really taking a beating. #qld

Callide dam (16% full now) is often closer to empty than full, already relying on water from nearby Awoonga to prop up the coal plant. It’s utter stupidity to want a nuclear plant there.

Just because we all need something nice, here is a 4 week old labradoodle puppy I cuddled today! Just divine 😍

Went to see the Tree of Knowledge at Barcaldine last night. It’s so beautiful and the hanging timber gently knocks together in the breeze. Can’t help but think that the Labor party of today would not be as sympathetic to the shearer’s plights.
