Starting a band weaving class during our school’s flexible learning block this week. The laser cutter needs repair, so we only got 6 heddles. Now setting up some tablet weaving setups for the other students. Here’s to experimenting and pivoting! #tabletweaving #weaving #🧶

Attempting to practice band weaving on a little laser-printed heddle, but no matter how I tie things up or adjust the tension, the heddle wants to spin around. How can I avoid this? Or is this just part of weaving in this set up? #weaving #bandweaving #heddleweaving

Loving the stripes! My math was off and I ran out of peachy pink, so the stripes aren’t centered and some are narrower than intended, but it’s all good. Hoping to get 3 dish towels/ napkins out of this warp! #rigidheddle #weaving 🧶

Been reading a LOT more lately. Of the 12 books I read this month only 10 were read entirely in January. The Tenant of Wildfell Hall and Rules for the Dance are carryovers. I’m now obsessed with Becky Chambers. North Woods was also especially delightful. #booksky #books #reading #readingroundup
