We're going backwards, & too many people aren't going to realize it until they find themselves out of work & at the mercy of an individual's personal biases, with 0 recourse.

I don't remember that going well for marginalized people historically.

*Age, race, sex, sexual orientation, religion, disability, etc.

Of COURSE, not every job is right for every person. But when qualifications, competency, & capability have all been established, to have one of the above things shut you *out* is unacceptable.

DEI was meant to level the field.
