I'm so full of rage right now. My Mom is Australian, but has lived and worked in the US for 50+ years. She has a green card and thus contributed to social security, but if this bill passes she will lose her SS benefits unless she becomes a US citizen. She's 74. Disgusting.

It took seeing adult bullies to understand that my childhood bullies didn’t even really want to hurt me, they just wanted to feel powerful and how I felt about it wasn’t even in the equation.

I can’t imagine someone not outgrowing that, but apparently it happens quite a lot!

I was watching interview clips for Wheel of Time season 3, and in one of them Natasha O'Keeffe referred to the Foresaken as something like "a dark group of toddlers".

Which is just so good to hear. Any adaptation of those books needs to understand that The Chosen don't deserve to be taken seriously
