starting to work more on the central cluster of flowers and buds before returning the background. the idea here is to have the central branch be super detailed with a lot of defined features, shading, and value, while the background is more impressionistic to give a sense of a shallow depth of field

in honor of Hades II please enjoy one of the first things I ever drew digitally

been feeling a bit stuck and unsatisfied with my pieces lately. sometimes it feels like I'm moving backwards. it's frustrating, but I'll just have to keep working and eventually I'll come out on the other side.
