It's a beautifully maddening rabbit hole that's tricky enough to follow having been an active participant. I'm incredibly excited to explore the rest of it with you once we've thoroughly indulged in spooky measures together, and then onto another, more daunting rabbit hole by your side.

They've just been in a mood for horsing around as of late. Very scientifically horsing around, if the stream was any indication.

Personally, I've always been enamored with Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia, even if its a divisive game. It's a difficult game with a nonstandard Metroidvania map structure, but the number of playstyles you can employ offers so much replayability and many ways of offsetting the difficulty curve.

The important thing is the knowledge that you've tried! Nothing ventured, nothing gained, after all. If the search for locals comes up short, I've also remembered that the SuperCombo wiki features a list of Discords, including regional ones which might prove quite useful!

System limitations are always rather frustrating, especially as upgrades feel increasingly expensive and out of reach. Out of curiosity, how feasible might it be to visit some local scenes? It might be a good way of both trying games you can't run at home and meeting some local fighting game fans!
