All Princesses Die Before Dawn is a good realistic slice-of-life graphic novel. I think slice-of-life is often equated with 'cozy' and I really prefer slice-of-life that has some of the complications of life and is not *just* cozy. (See also: Stone Fruit by Lee Lai)

Austin Chant also wrote Peter Darling (Trans!Peter Pan/Captain Hook enemies-to-lovers), which was one of my favorite books of 2024.

Finished Hood Vacations (last year's Lambda trans poetry winner) last night and started Freshwater.

Hood Vacations was good, even though I'm definitely missing a lot of context (black culture, poetry, etc).

Already finished Taproot, a graphic novel about a gardener who can see ghosts, which I found on the TRR Storygraph challenge. Really lovely.
