Been replaying DOOM The Dark Ages tonight since I haven't played since release. There's still something that doesn't quite hit the way DOOM Eternal does but I'm enjoying it for now honestly.

Visual Studio 2026 wants to update almost every time it closes now and updates seems like they're 2 GB a pop and take forever to install.

Man RE8 on PC seems like such a graphical leap compared to RE7. Everything looks really crisp and game runs really well. RE7 at times seemed like textures were a checkerboard and blurry mess.

Finished RE7 for the first time ever - even despite seeing people play it so many times before. I never paid super close attention to the story honestly? But WOW what an incredible game!

Done with Silksong finally and you know what? Not a fan.
The game has its moments but I'm still really disappointed in a lot of what was decided.
It took this long to finish because so much was such a frustrating experience I didn't even want to finish it.

So many baffling decisions made that could have elevated the original Hollow Knight experience to something greater and they bit their thumb at every single one.
