To note, most LEO agencies have tons of military gear they buy at discount from the services. Vast majority of LEOs have better bullet protection than most military. And any gear that’s makes them look military should likely NOT be used on civilian on our soil.

My response is based on - on the ground photos I’ve seen reporting on ICE.
Gather a bunch of macho guys armed to the teeth with military weapons (ICE) and ask them what they fear. They are likely to answer “not a goddamned thing.” As a veteran, its probably how I'd answer if I were in ICE’s shoes with all their gear.

So theeldery in nursing hones can't vote, as they cant get to an office to prove citizenship. Same with active duty military serving abroad. So now you can die for your country but you won’t be able to register to vote.
