It's shortsighted that they killed the free tax filing service everyone loves. When you kill something good, it becomes clear what people are missing out on.
I wasn't eligible for df last year and used @freetaxusa.bsky.social . It's nearly free and a similar good user experience to Direct File.

I don't have all the answers here. I wish I had more. But please please remember, a free country doesn't censor media, comedians, and federal workers.
A free country doesn't come for people who are trans, people who don't look like the majority.
This is not normal. Pay fucking attention.

Do you shy away from thinking that people who are trans are under attack because it's just not possible? It is.
