Flying low, still figuring this out. Using same name as the bad place if you're inclined to vet before following me. You should, just on principle. Actually you should reconsider that follow...
Am I supposed to know who all those people are?

He's going to last as long as he's alive. That doesn't mean it's over when he dies it just means his particular noise stops

And yet if somebody actually assassinates one of these lawmakers his entire fucking cult and what's left of the so-called Republican Party will line up behind him and say no no that was not an invitation to violence.

JSYK... this dude is not Zach Galifianakis (or Jack Black. I've heard both).

It's Robert Redford in Jeremiah Johnson.

Because if JD Vance becomes president before January 20th 2026 then he's only allowed to serve the last 2+ years of Trump's terms and a single term to which he can be elected. If he becomes president after Jan 20th '26 then he can finish Trump's term and run for 2 more terms for just under 10 years.

Maybe because it's not actually really being talked about anywhere other than blue sky which is just offensive as fuck on its own right

I dunno... kinda sounds like he just endorsed single payer.

I've heard variations of it my entire life (almost always in conjunction with arguments against raising the minimum wage) but the volume of it definitely increased in the last 10 years.

Notably -- minimum wage hasn't increased in almost 20 years.

Too many people still consider rape a property crime, not an assault on an individual. Once you understand that, so many things about Epstein, the MeToo backlash, etc. start to make sense.

As someone with 3 LSG dogs and a pit bull... can concur. They may as well be named FAFO dogs. Anything that's bred to kill coyotes isn't bothered by some redhat jackass.

Okay you got to fill us in for those of us are missing that part of the narrative.

Anyway. Menopause sucks. Check on your women friends, especially those who've lost their moms, they're probably going through some things.
November 16, 2025 at 6:15 PM
Sometimes it's big things like perimenopause b/c doctors can give you the basics but your body is doing weird, uncomfortable shit & you need your mom to talk you through it. If you're lucky you've got a couple of female friends but they're likely close to your own age and probably just as unmoored.

But something happens when you reach adulthood. You go from needing a mom to needing *your* mom. Not always even for big things, sometimes you're just living in another city and need mom to talk you through how to make her pot roast because you're homesick.

There's no point in your life where you don't need your mom but I would argue as women we need them more as we age.

When you're a kid, you need a mom. You need a comforting adult figure to protect you, shelter you, and feed you. Realistically, any adult can do that.

I lost my mom when I was 34yo, my grandmother at 37yo, and my aunt last year. My grandmother and I were never close and I hadn't spoken to my aunt since mom died but it's still unsettling to know I'm now the oldest.
