i’m all for sharing music, food and stuff. half the time tho, they steal and white wash it. what do you think happened to cinco de mayo? gringos stole that and put it on the US calendar. it doesnt mean anything to most mexicans. you want dia de los muertos to become some aesthetic? shut up

i understand that death is not easy. but why steal OUR traditions… “we should share our culture!” yeah, within community. i think if they want to honor their loved ones, they can do it any other way. look into your own culture and history!
