Now in Rstudio, it says "Copilot: Completion response received below the editor window whenever it's suggesting code, shown in grey!
Later I'll give an update on how useful I find it, and perhaps I'll try and get it working on a server version of RStudio.

Following instructions from Posit's website, I enabled Co-Pilot in RStudio, then clicked "Sign in". It opened a RStudio window with a device code and also a browser window where I had to type in the same code. I hit continue and it said "Congratulations, you are all set!"
