I think they’re more sensible and less corrupt, so on that basis they’d be better. But we’re talking about the margin of inexperience which ultimately are just scales of bad. But what I do like about a resurgent Greens is they stop the bigger parties assuming it’s Farage voters they need to win over

tbh that just sounds like flu. I have the flu shot every year because, despite being otherwise healthy, the last time I got it it knocked me out for weeks. I think sometimes people forget just how bad the flu actually is.

In my experience, “word of the year” always a year later than it was actually in heavy rotation. It takes time for these words to filter boomers’ Facebook bubbles, who are who actually nominate this stuff.

I quite enjoy Taskmaster overall, but it’s such a shame that the highlight of each episode is the gift round at the start. After that it’s heavily variable, with some tasks just looking painfully unfun with people clearly not having fun doing them.
