I definitely am in a great new working environment now!! Things are a little uncertain due to national shenanigans, but my coworkers are great, and I am definitely no longer depressed and stressed. Wishing the best for you!

Yeah, so true. I think it's a good idea in general, hopefully you can land a good position that won't exploit you and allow you to have that time and space.

Oof yeah. By the end of my PhD I was done with academia, but the job market was so difficult that I was like, at least I can get a postdoc while I reevaluate my life decisions.
