That was probably Dark Sphere’s old Waterloo branch in Lambeth. Other side of the river but only a 20 minute or so walk from Orc’s Nest. Unfortunately it closed during the pandemic.

New branch of Element Games has just opened on Drury Lane near Covent Garden. That Orcs Nest and Forbidden Planet are all within 5-10 minutes of each other.

Ooh blast from the past I can do. Models are all from the last millennium, paint work early 2020s.

With my painting skills, it is only art if doing a colouring in book was also art. Or maybe a paint by numbers kit. The majority of the artistic expression has been done by someone else. I’m following some techniques to create colourful game pieces.

For others, it definitely can be.

My paint flinging massively slowed down in Autumn, but was really pleased with some of the characters I completed.

I think it’s more like a quadrilemma / quintrilemma with having a
moderately balanced diet at 4 and effective school-age parenting at 5. Showing up for parents evenings, phonics workshops, nativities, sports days etc takes a chunk out of number 1.

Melange and a pastry from a Strock or Anker is my usual in Vienna, but normally there for work so just localising my commuter habits.

And if asked ‘Mit schlagobers’ is usually the right answer when getting hot chocolates or strudel.
