The official Greene County Ohio Public Health Facebook page just posted this graphic with hashtags including #RespiratoryHealth - yet they don't use the word mask, let alone point out that #RespiratorMasks like the #N95 work far better than medical procedure masks that leak around the edges!

By comparison, both of our neighboring Ohio counties - Clark (Springfield) & Montgomery (Dayton) - have wastewater levels of COVID that are considered Low

Is he High level shown for Yellow Springs a temporary bump due to the Street Fair on June 14th? Time will tell - new data on Friday the 27th

While most of Ohio - and the nation - are seeing low wastewater levels of #COVID, here in #GreeneCountyOhio, the tourist haven of Yellow Springs has a much higher level, likely due to the many thousands of visitors attending the #YellowSpringsStreetFair on #June142025

#H5N1 (aka #BirdFlu, #HPAI, and #HighlyPathogenicAvianInfluenza) has been found in Darke and Mercer counties.

H5N1 is highly contagious, and often deadly - potentially impacting future egg and poultry prices.

Well, our hopes have been dashed - the uptick we hoped would diminish has (as predicted) become a five-fold surge.

Of course, over Christmas, all of those infected people were spreading the virus to the people who matter to them most.

Truly the gift that keeps on giving.

It appears that the Thanksgiving COVID surge is beginning, as we've expected.

While we hope we are wrong, so far, this early curve matches every big surge.

Folks gather from all over the country, indoors, where they give their loved ones whatever respiratory diseases they are infected with.
