As someone who has just gotten into it, it's a shame because genuinely you sometimes have people stating incorrect info. Here's all my thoughts. Reminder I've never played older games like DOOM or Quake, so this is still a pretty novel experience for me (I only know about them from a friend who watched me play Galvanized and from what I've heard from some people in those communities).
