83 yrs, this old waffle iron still makes great waffles, but the plug was completely disintegrated so hubby’s fixing it. Parents married 1942 & I’m assuming that’s when this monster was bought. The only appliance I have left from them…I did destroy a toaster in the 60’s by burning it on the stove!

Not quite the first thing I did when I retired but am happy to have solid Social Security, a retirement account and a loving husband and kids. Sure hope I can say that about SS going forward. #ProtectSocialSecurity
