The short story finalists for the Hugo awards are all written by women. Small ray of sunshine is this fucking dystopian mess of an era.

Be aware, but not too aware. Care about geopolitics, but don't be consumed. Write fiction, but not so that your head is in the sand. Be positive, but not toxic positive. Don't be negative, but don't be dumb ... me: oh yay, meteor gonna take us out in 7 years. (checks watch).

My story The Glass Mountain appears in this gorgeous 2024 international anthology. The rest of the stories are so strong, I'm incredibly proud to be part of it. Available on Amazon.

also proud of the two short stories I contributed in this anthology. 1 about weird zombies with mirrored eyes who might be more clever than we think, and the other about a feral mermaid who chooses herself.

in 2022 I was fortunate enough to have my short story State vs Hades published in the 50th edition of Luna Station Quarterly. Very proud of that story, though it do be tending to ruffle some traditional feathers :P
It was well reviewed, however.

2024 was creatively fulfilling for me, and I'm pretty blessed. My YA novel, FORGOTTEN was published in February, and has since been optioned for television. It's the story of Wendy six years after leaving Neverland: her struggle to remember her past with those she loved, as well as old enemies.
