The only people who are extremely angry about the thread are the ones who don't understand it. The term "elite liberal" has referred to the same people for years. People know what it means. Whether or not you think they're technically "liberals" is irrelevant.

I encourage you to kick this habit. It's really transparent because it's really common! Challenge yourself to interpret what others say as honestly as possible. Rephrase their arguments and ask if you got it right. Anyway sorry to lecture. I'll mute you now.

You insist I answer multiple questions but refuse to answer mine about how you wildly misinterpreted what I said. This is because it was willful, and obviously you can't just say "I twisted your words to make your position sound unreasonable." You don't want to take responsibility for that.

I feel like a lot of people on this site genuinely don't know any other way to argue. Like they think you're actually supposed to misrepresent the opposing argument. It's a little different from trolly, deliberate bad faith. It's weird as hell
