i mean that was what i was kinda talking about. he only finished 3 studio albums, and they're all masterpieces that each have been my favorite at different times, but there are 2 that are very obviously major works and "the other one" that doesn't necessarily get recognized as such. middle sibling.

yeah, my first Hendrix CDs were Electric Ladyland and Smash Hits, so when i got to Axis later i was like holy crap there's gold in here that people have not appreciated enough
