Remote participation is an option. We should be thrilled to have a study that can accommodate such a broad population in order to get some answers to this stinking disease. This is everyone's job. This is every organization's job. 5/

Google "ALS organizations serving xxx" and there are plenty for these 3 states. There are ALS fundraisers that embrace people in thest 3 states. OK, ALS orgs, how about mentioning ALL ALS? 4/

We are simply failing to reach people with ALS in three states. That's not rocket sci. It's simple effort and communication. Let's show the effort. So here we go, Alaska, Hawaii, North Dakota. 3/

This only works if we get a large, representative population of people with ALS to participate. That should not be hard. Enrollment looks good on the surface, but we actually have three states in the US that have no participants. 2/
