This is from substack. Call your congressional representative and ask about these bills. This would give control of the state department to President Trump and it would allow Congress not to know what’s going on for 90 days. EEK. I don’t understand why Congress wants to give up this power.

Trump is just ordered the military into Portland and said they could use full force which means they could kill civilians. Who’s going to stand up against this?

And I would suggest that not only will this hurt healthcare, but a lot of companies who need a lot of skilled workers like the Hyundai plant in Georgia will not be able to pay $100,000 per worker for their visas.

This will hurt rural and tribal communities who depend on NPR for weather alerts. Not sure what the Republicans have against programs like Nature or Nova, either. If they can destroy something good, they will.

Excellent read about an “unassuming” female museum curator who helped keep track of the art that Nazis stole from French galleries and Jewish citizens. And she helped get a lot of it back. If she can do this, then each of us can help beat back the Trump regime in some way.
