I also imagine my (redeemed) Durge doing a lot of reassuring. And then researching a way for Astarion to occasionally be able to go in the sun again. Not for convenience, just because it makes Astarion happy. (He'd rope Gale into helping because they're basically BFFs and knows he likes a challenge)

I think about this a lot. Spawn Astarion getting frustrated at the constraints of being a vampire again. Especially feeling like even after Cazador's death, Caz could still take things from him. And then the fear that it could mean losing Tav too? Like he's more work than fun. AWFUL for his anxiety.
