Initial tests with the Early Access #java builds which include Compact Object Headers (available on SDKman now!) are showing 10% to 20% memory reduction! Just for enabling this feature! 🤯
Will run some more structured tests and then bundle it in a blog. This is awesome.

Very nice: Compact Object Headers targeted as experimental feature to #Java 24! This should yield some nice reduction of the heap size Java apps need. Kudos to Roman Kennke and team!

FLIP-440 with ProcessTableFunction cwiki.apache.org/confluence/p... is probably the #apacheflink FLIP I've been most excited about since the Table API & SQL upgrade FLIP. Having the ability to build your own processing function with the benefits of the SQL ecosystem (query planner, optimizer) ❤️
