We identified median grain sizes for coarse (> 2 mm) and fine (≤ 2 mm) sediments, sediment chemistry (bulk Fe, Ca) & soil properties (TOC, N concentrations) as most important sediment properties in our study. Have a look below how to efficiently include them into your biogeomorphic research:

Sampling across debris flow, rock glacier, moraine and solifluction slopes in Valais, Switzerland, we found that if biogeomorphic feedbacks can happen depends on both geomorphic activity and sediment properties, with grain size related textural establishment and ecosystem engineering thresholds.
