I finally watched Smile 2 and have been involuntarily comparing every movie I've ever seen or will see to it because I enjoyed it so much I genuinely fear I may have flown to close to the sun in terms of quality

My soul is literally lighter after seeing Sinners. Colors are more vibrant and the world feels more "real" than it ever has. That movie changed me.

Sinners altered my DNA as a human being and I truly believe that movie opened a window that let humanity glimpse the light of God

Drawing is time consuming

I was trying to finish up a face I was drawing and someone said "just add a dumb smiley face and call it a day!" I was so amused by the shape the smile made when I increased the stroke that all I could think about was making a stupid fruit logo thing, so I had fun playing with gradients and strokes!

I have never made anything so clean and professional looking in my entire life and seeing this come together was kind of huge for me. I hope people see and like it and understand that you can make art if you put in the time. This was incredibly rewarding. I just love Hornet and Hollow Knight so much

Don't get me wrong, I know this Squirrel Girl still looks like crap, but I can see an improvement happening and I'm almost ironically upset that continued improvement will get me outside of the "meme-tier shitty drawing" skill category
