It doesn't matter if you don't perfectly fit in the box, that's not what it's for; I've seen people agonising over liking someone of a different gender to the one their self-ascribed label says they should, because they've defined themselves by the label they gave themselves. It's for other people!

Imo labels exist to communicate with others; you find the box that you come _closest_ to fitting in so others know what to expect, but don't make the mistake of trying to force yourself into it. A label that perfectly matches the person it's given to will be so specific that it's basically a nametag
