Would it be better with more purple and a bird on it? I think it's neat, not a horrible transformation, and obviously limited by the alt-mode kibble. To get around the shell-former nature of an object designed to be a shell, it would have to be much bigger and more complex.

The first release was packed in an open box. The chest plate would be easy to remove and steal. Even though this release is a sealed bubble, they kept the packaging method.

Looking at my copy, there just isn't much movement in those side flaps. It's more of a slide around motion than pulling them out and away from the body.

Do you mean coming off during transformation or just not tabbing in securely? They seem a bit vague in robot mode, from what I remember the couple of times I messed with mine. Not an upsetting amount, just not a satisfying click or anything.

There were some clever bits to the transformation. I was able to work through it without instructions so still intuitive.
