One more fact, the USDA oversees labeling on meat, and their regulations are even stricter than the FDA’s. So, unless the label on a turkey specifically lists something like a gravy packet which includes wheat, there should be no cross contamination.

Sad to see that Sarah reacts to facts that contradict her claims by blocking instead of engaging in constructive conversation.

Unfortunately, she’ll probably continue to spread misinformation about labeling laws instead of helping people.

His body reacted to proteins in those foods same as it did to gluten. Specific testing confirmed allergy to all 3.
Using food diaries, I have helped dozens of people who thought their ongoing reactions were gluten to identify other food sensitivities.

Reacting to a food is not proof it contains gluten, it’s proof you react to something in that food.

When my kid was little, we went to a completely GF household. He still reacted to some foods. Using a detailed food diary, noted everything he reacted to contained soy, sorghum or millet.

Okay, having a problem with your statement there is no good standard for gluten free labeling. For the record, am 22 years diagnosed, 20 years running GF support groups & pt ed.

Since 2014 FDA has had a rule clearly defining what “gluten free” means.

Most MRI’s I can get a decent nap in.

Unless they’re looking for widespread malignancies, a whole body MRI would be very unusual.

US sticks of butter are ½ cup each, so ¾ c is 1 ½ sticks of butter.

There used to Heath Toffee chips, but haven’t seen them for a couple years.

They seem to have vanished, like the mint chips did (which was a really stupid move by Nestle, replaced by butterscotch chips which are nasty & don’t melt properly!!!)

What sort of chips? I see the name is Toffee Chip, but those aren’t a common item in the US.
