setting up my reading journal for next year has been such a fun creative exercise ✨ I didn't intend to go for an Alice in Wonderland theme but it came together organically as I've worked on it the past two weeks.

I finished The Starving Saints by Caitlin Starling today and it's unlike anything I've read before. dark, atmospheric, dangerous, so twisty and twisted. a strange and nightmarish horror novel. don't sit on this if the premise intrigues. 💙📚

I collect kokeshi and other wooden dolls. started when my friend got me one for my birthday a few years ago (and I have some of her needlefelted kokeshi!). now 3 of us give them as gifts or go searching together at thrift stores.
