Just does concept experiments
Here's my astonishing set-up. The rest of the room is bare and empty because I use it for VR art and yes, games too. I'd make a pretty office but that's just more shit to get knocked over, ripped out, etc.

Tools used: Zbrush and Blender for the model and the hair, Marvelous Designer for cloth physics, Substance 3D Painter for textures, Photoshop for this image with really shitty composition.

This was originally an illustration I did in February of 2024, as I followed a Sakimichan tutorial and used it to create something of my own. I ran it through an image to video via prompt AI to get it moving. 'Woman looks around inquisitively' was the instruction. Kind of mind warping to me.

Testing out camera zoom system. It's just a basic proof of concept. It's controlled by the mouse wheel currently, but will be dynamic when finalized; You get closer to an enemy or group of enemies the camera gradually zooms in on the action or potential action, make things more dynamic.

As an example; imagine if this was an in-game screenshot. That's what I'm going for. But again, that'll be one of the absolute last steps. Getting all the mechanics working, power ups, logic, etc. That's the goal right now.

Here's the video I promised. Currently using assets from Spriter's Resource. Updating the visuals will be one of the last things I do. The visuals in the end will look more like the examples you see in the game manuals.

Getting the hang of sculpting in VR. The video doesn't really communicate it very well, but to me there's a ball levitating in front of me, roughly the size of a bowling ball. It's a strange yet incredibly intuitive experience.
