#6: Superman III. This unironically might be the worst movie I've seen in my entire life. Somehow manages to be off-the-wall bonkers and incredibly boring at the same time. None of the actual jokes land and the unintentionally funny bits are few and far between. Avoid at all costs.

#5: Superman Returns. This movie isn't thrilling, emotional, or meaningful enough to justify its own existence. The double-whammy of Brian Singer and Kevin Spacey certainly doesn't help. Otherwise a perfectly functional movie, but nothing better than a "Meh."

#4: Superman IV: The Quest for Peace. Objectively terrible movie in every regard, but anyone with a taste for that kind of thing will have an amazing time. Not as entertaining as Superman 2, but deliciously terrible nonetheless.

#3: Man of Steel. Takes itself far too seriously to be placed above Superman 2, although they both seriously misunderstand Superman. Though the action scenes and the fact that it's an interesting movie to talk about stop it from being any lower.

#2: Superman II. Went into this expecting it to be "The other good one." Left thinking it was a hilarious mess. Superman is at possibly his most petty and selfish and Zod is an absolute icon. 11/10. Watch it with your friends, preferably while high.

Some outdated special effects and corny moments don't stop this from being a classic that understands the heart and soul of the character. Even when it looks outdated it still makes you wonder "How did they do that in 1978?" Great watch, highly recommend.
