Let the Tile Scarf begin. Black alpaca warp (commercial prep dyed by me), white alpaca weft handspun and dyed with Tassie feather bush (Phyllica pubescence) by me. Probably better with a more evenly spun weft but that’s not me, the random happy spinner.

Basket of acorns from just one of the oaks. I collect this amount every other day until the leaf drop is done. I sow about 20 to give away as seedlings next season, the other few hundred are crunchingly enjoyed by the alpacas, if they get to them before the parrots fly in.
