I think that they thought JG was Jim Goyer and assumed he was briefing Chump. In Hollywood, we fire assistants for mistakes like this and these troglodytes are trying to frame it as a small mistake. Impeach them ALL!

They probably thought JG was Jim Goyer - Chump’s Assistant - which could explain why Chump didn’t know what was even happening. Inexcusable either way but daaaaaaaaaamn. These fools are in trouble and if they aren’t, then weeeeeee are in trouble.
