But live action? Go retro. 80s. Legend, Labyrinth, Neverending Story, Return To Oz. Imagine it.

Good points, but Inside Out is Disney. Brand carries it, Ne Zha 2 i've personally never heard of, but where did it make most its money? Because locally, Chinese product tends to do great. Demon Slayer is insane though. I don't think anyone saw 700M coming from a movie on that series.

Would live action cost more money though? Depending on the budget of course, but animating beautiful trees, moving grass, & forests vs. filming in a field.

Wiki says Brave (2012) cost 185M 13 years ago. Zelda's rumoured around 150M. Toy Story 4; 200M. What would Brave cost today? Over 200M I say.

Money. Like how many Westerners won't watch a classic anime movie, but will jump onto anything Pixar and Disney, many others won't watch anything animated unless it's a green screen behind a real actor.
