What kicked off the trend of actors replacing voice actors for animated films and video games and what can we do to reverse it?

Beat my first Shin Megami Tensei game (V Vengeance) at 65 hours. It’s been off and on since release and I had so much fun the whole time. I’m glad it’s finally over now too though. Got so many other games to play.

I had an amazing trip back to the US getting to spend time with my mom, reconnecting with old friends, and getting to meet new friends and catch up on how everyone’s been. My journey home was too smooth to be true and since arriving at Osaka station, it’s been a nightmare, but it’s almost over!

I’m going through my dvd collection and found “Spring Choir 2010”. There’s so much nostalgia for that time and I can’t even remember everyone’s names. The boys were a trainwreck and there’s an unrecorded LTL rap we only played once. How awkward, fun, and innocent we were.

I shouldn’t browse Goodreads, I immediately wanted to preorder Chernow’s upcoming Mark Twain biography regardless of the dozens of unfinished books 3 feet away from me (and let’s not talk about ebooks 🤫).

I’ve starting watching South Park from the beginning and it’s still incredible it ever made it on air. I realize how much this show’s impacted my life and how timeless it is even with the dated references. I’ve missed 8 years of the most recent stuff so I can’t wait to catch up.

Got most of my music, complete with album art, on the new Walkman and I’m almost ready to ditch iTunes completely. Apple Music really destroyed my library and it’s so buggy that I had to leave.

I’ve finally cancelled Netflix. It’s a step in the right direction and I’m hoping to feel less overwhelmed in the new year so that more positive changes can be made. Also weighed myself and felt disgusted, so I also want to eat better too. Cheers to everyone in the same boat!

This year has been one of the hardest in a long time. I stayed up until 4am cleaning and finally finding it in me to just throw things away and let bad habits go. I may finally be getting through the COVID depression phase. Too many mistakes, never again.

It’s such a great feeling to watch newer South Park episodes again after about 8 years. The Post COVID specials were excellent. Next is the Streaming Wars!

I played Alan Wake Remastered from start to finish for the first time last weekend and it was incredible. Now I’m getting into Alan Wake II and I don’t know how I didn’t discover it sooner!
