This shit is hard enough. We do not need to send angry messages or threats to folks just trying to survive.

We were out there so things could be better inside. To me that wasn't conditional. I was there to make it better for everyone, whether or not they were part of a collective bargaining unit.

You will NEVER catch me being mad at a scab for getting a paycheck. Not a single member of our bargaining team held animosity towards our scabs. We reserved that for the employer who refused to be constructive and wasted our time at the bargaining table.

No one waits long enough to find out that it's a pretty perfect job for her that she actually enjoys. They immediately feel pity because of their own perceptions of doing that job.

It's a unionized position that pays her what she needs. She can listen to music while she works, her hours are flexible, and she doesn't have to work with the public.

She's pretty happy with it.
