No, No, NO. If you squirt it onto the floor someone has to clean it up and it would be noticed. Inject it into the mattress or pillow.

A lot of that applies to insects also. The dimorphism can be quite dramatic in that instance.

Did dinos need camoflague? Couldn't they be brightly colored? (at least the largest ones)

Today even some "quality" products are designed to fail after a relatively short time. Test a 'fridge from 1950's to today's high end 'fridge. Bells & whistles make it fail in a few years instead of lasting for 10-20 years.
