IDK what exactly your going for, and this could well be intentional, but the image placement means the text has to be smaller than it otherwise could be.

what is the rust foundation cooking?
Needed to use `-singlestep`, which is a now deprecated, but is the only option available on the old version I have.
Interestingly, it makes it ~15x slower, but does let me demonstrate that this optimization has an effect on some configurations.

that is extremely ugly as the source/target language has no nice features, so the codegen ends up as print statements interspersed with walking the AST (which also holds the result of typecheck)
