We've seen Trump put an end to little squabbles when the other person bent the knee, but 1) I don't recall any real beefs getting squashed and 2) Elon won't bend the knee.

It's the fact that they tried to convince someone that they had started a donation that they definitely did not that I found very troublesome. It's disgusting to prey on seniors like that and I'll keep making a stink until they change how they operate.

This week I got a text from Act Blue on my deceased father's phone and it said, "We could see you were about to donate but didn't complete it." That really pissed me off they're manipulating seniors like that so I fired off an angry tweet to them. Maybe they are a fraudulent organization.

Not really. There's no real qualifier to be considered a "journalist." Shock jocks and podcasters ARE the independent journalists of today. They are some people's only news source, which makes them journalists in a sense, whether we like it or not.

The right has convinced people on the right AND the left that mainstream media can't be trusted. This has allowed for chaos agents and conspiracy theorists (i.e. independent journalists) to flood the airwaves with fake news. How is that not obvious?

Independent "journalists" are the reason we're in this mess. I'm not disputing that good ones are important but it's the bad ones whose voices seem to be the most amplified.

I don't have a problem with silent protests--Kapernick was a great example. But when we get to the point that we're just disruptors of someone else's show (and that's what a speech is), what's next? They stop inviting both sides? Does that serve us in any way?

Given that she still considers RFK jr's role as a "bright spot," I told you so" wouldn't cover it anyway. At some point she needs to acknowledge she's just not a bright person, something she's not bright enough to figure out.
