A greenish mosquito coil hangs half-burned, sitting on a red cloth. Grey burnt-off segments of the coil have fallen to the mat, making a spiral of uniform little rectangles. The red cloth sits in front of a blue background, the coil perfectly centered on the cloth, and the cloth perfectly centered in the frame. Everything is lit from directly above, the coil casting a soft shadow on the fabric. A wisp of smoke rises. The colors are almost completely saturated, giving the entire image an almost hyper-real aesthetic.
